Module 3 online piano lessons

A piano bar player has certain abilities. Most of them sing and play to requests, so they need a large repertoire of songs.

They can ad-lib or improvise with harmony and chord structure instantaneously and when singing, they use a rhythmical style of playing which is supportive and sympathetic in feel, It doesn't usually carry the melody because that is what the voice is doing, it's this style that we would like to teach in Module 3.

The playthroughs are filmed with the passion and feel of a live performance. They show the movement and expression that the player would use against their vocals. The voice has been removed so that we can concentrate on what the hands are doing. When you've worked with the lessons, and put the song together, refer back to the playthrough to hear the points of expression and get familiar with the feel and movement of the song.
